In the morning, the instructors will lead the group on a walking tour of the city center of Dublin, focusing on the area south of the River Liffey. Highlights will include St. Stephen’s Green, Merrion Square, Leinster House and Trinity College. After lunch, we will proceed north of the Liffey following the route below. This tour will take us across the river, with stops at the Famine Memorial and the Abbey Theatre, and a walk up O’Connell Street, site of considerable fighting during the 1916 Rising and location of several important memorials.
