We’ll be arriving in Dublin around 8:30am local time. After clearing customs and meeting our bus driver, we’ll spend about two and a half hours on the road, traveling west to Galway. Our accommodations will be at the Corrib Village Apartments, north of the National University of Ireland at Galway. We’ll give you a quick orientation to the area and you’ll have the afternoon free for independent exploration of the city.
Below is a map of Galway. Click on the red pins for more information (Corrib Village is near the top of the map). There is a free shuttle that runs into the city center until the late afternoon. If you walk, it will be about one mile to the city center, following the scenic River Corrib.
